Being right…and you ARE…and being successful…and you ARE…certainly lead too often, to jealous reactions, especially with electronic insulation. I would bet that these same people would never throw this BS at you face to face. But your kind of person is just the kind of person that attracts and keeps some really good clients….love ya.

WOW, how many times have WE had this discussion? I, too, wish that I could remain positive about this whole situation, unfortunately being the recipient myself of the unruly and backstabbing competition, I just think that those that indulge in such behavior have serious esteem issues and lack the overall ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

When it is all said and done, Ang, people like you and I can hold our heads high, knowing that WE are, each one of the very few nowdays, it seems, that can get through our days without being stuck to a forum, engaged in IM group sessions, or chatting with their “buddies” online conjuring up their next malicious move on their competition.

This has always been a very sore subject with me, as I know it has you as well…and, I have said it before and will again…JEALOUSY IS A TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE THING!!!

Well said and well meant, I’m sure. There is something about the internet and its anonymity that brings out the worst in people in chat rooms and discussion groups. I’ve seen it in genealogy chats, in political chats, even in dieting chats! The desire to put others down, to define others out. Maybe that is the downside of the power the internet gives us.

But you, Angela, have always been a woman of power and strength!!

You are right that with so many of us (sex or otherwise) online, each with their own ideas, ethics and behaviors, it’s difficult to find common ground some days. But I believe that’s like life. You just gotta swim where it’s comfortable ~ even if that means some days you’re alone. (I know that last part very well.)
